ANNOUNCING SEASON SIX, OUR 2018-19 CLASSES, CAMPS & SHOWS

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (JR) | Youth Company – Winter 2019

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

INSTRUCTORS:  Tentatively, Jerry R. Soria-Foust, WCP’s founding Artistic Director

PREREQUISITE & CASTING INFO:  No audition is necessary.  We do “try-on”-style casting, with an assessment of acting, singing & dancing skills on the first day.  We assign roles to our students based on their goals and our assessment of how best to challenge them and continue to develop their skills.  One of our philosophical pillars is “ensemble” – we try to give every child as much stage time as possible, and make strong use of students in secondary or chorus roles throughout the show.

CLASS SIZE:  Youth Company enrollment is limited to 32 students. This class almost always fills, so enroll early to ensure your place.  In our larger programs, some or all roles are double-cast; however, usually all students perform in all of the shows. We do reserve the right to change the number of performances based on the final enrollment and casting.
