Allyce Torres is an actor and teaching artist from San Diego, CA. She has taught for several groups across the country including Source 4 Studios, St. Croix Falls Festival Theatre, The Lowell Milken Education Center, and Halcyon Theatre. Allie is a proud ensemble member at Halcyon Theatre and The Head of Artist Relations for Something Marvelous. She holds a BFA in Acting from Illinois Wesleyan University.

Anna Sciaccotta is an actor and teaching artist from Barrington, Illinois. Anna has taught preschool for several years as well as served as a teacher and Education Intern at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre. She is a recent graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University where she received her B.F.A. in Acting.

Becca Skrha
Teaching Artist
Born in Alaska and raised in Ohio, Becca made her way to Chicago 7 years ago to get her BFA in Musical Theatre from The Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. After graduation, she spent 15 months touring internationally performing, teaching, directing, and adventuring with Missoula Children's Theatre. Since returning to Chicago, Becca has taught a lot of theatre, sung a lot of songs, ran a lot of miles and eaten a lot of sushi.

Bessie Zolno
Teaching Artist & Teen Mentor
Bessie is a performer, teacher, and mentor from Oakland, CA. She is currently receiving her BFA in Musical Theater Performance and stage combat certifications from Columbia College Chicago. Favorite roles include Anne in La Cage aux Folles, Jessica in This is Our Youth, and Chavo in Fiddler on the Roof. Christopher Young
Teaching Artist & Choreographer
Christopher Young has a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance and Acting from the University of Mississippi. Chicago performing credits include Miracle! (Hell in a Handbag!), Musical of the Living Dead (Cowardly Scarecrow), Zombie Prom (Cult Camp), Kill Your Boyfriends (Pride Films and Plays), and Unraveling Veterans (Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble). Other favorite roles include Leaf Coneybear (Spelling Bee), Rolf (The Sound of Music), Morded (Camelot), and Feste (Twelfth Night).

Emily Briggs
Teaching Artist
Emily Briggs is a teacher and performing artist originally from Davenport, Iowa. She is a graduate of Millikin University’s BFA Musical Theatre Program. After graduating, Emily joined Missoula Children’s Theatre as a tour actor/director. While with MCT she traveled the United States, as well as 4 countries overseas, teaching children a musical in one week. Through this experience she was able to work with more than 2,500 kids in 49 towns, and discovered a passion for helping children find their voice through performance and artistic expression.

Isabella Coelho

Isabella Karina Coelho is a teaching artist and actor hailing from Pittsburgh, PA. As a teaching artist, Isabella has worked all over the city of Chicago. She has served Staff Artist at Free Street Theater since 2013 where she runs the Park Kids Program at Pulaski Park and creates programming with Chicago Park District’s Arts XIII program. As an actress Isabella has performed at Broadway in Chicago, Raven Theatre, Cock and Bull Theatre, Cor Theatre, The Apollo Theatre and others. Joshua Heinlein

Joshua appeared last Fall in Windy City Music Theater’s production of Seussical the Musical (Horton the Elephant). Previous credits include Greathouse Theater’s Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf) and Kentucky Conservatory Theater and Blackbird Dance Theater’s Little Shop of Horrors (Orin Scrivello), Cabaret (Herman/Lady/Ape), and Jesus Christ Superstar (James) in Lexington, KY. Joshua received his B.A in Music and Theater from Asbury University and is currently living in Uptown, Chicago with his wife, Berenice.

Katherine Dalin

Katherine Dalin is a voice/piano teacher, costumer, director and music director, as well as a versatile performer, with credits ranging from opera to theatre to cabaret. She has been seen onstage with local and regional opera and theatre companies including: Petite Opera, Fury Theatre, Savoyaires, On the Spot Theatre, Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company, Sugar Creek Symphony and Song, Verismo Opera Theatre, SouthEast Wisconsin Performing Arts, Elgin Opera, Dupage Opera Theatre and Florentine Opera, as well as cabaret performances including Davenport's, Side Street Studio Arts, White Cat Cabaret and more.

Katherine Orgel
Teaching Artist & Choreographer
Katherine is excited to be apart of Windy City Music Theater’s teaching staff. She recently performed in WCMT’s production of You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. Katherine has pursued a Bachelor of the Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Dance from Northeastern Illinois University. Katherine is also a founding member and instructor of the Orgel School of Movement Arts, Kung Fu, and Hapkido.

Kevin Carr
Teaching Artist
Kevin Carr is a classroom teacher at a local elementary school. He received his B.A. in Theater and Psychology at Oberlin College, and he has completed his M.A. in General Education at Northwestern University. Kevin has done volunteer work for Redmoon Theater and has acted in a variety of shows in Oberlin College. He has also worked as the Theater Counselor for Wediko Children’s Services in New Hampshire and as a counselor with the Mad Factory in Oberlin, OH, teaching and performing with children from the community in a production of Once Upon A Mattress. Kevin is exhilarated to help nurture a new generation of actors!

LaShera Moore
Teaching Artist
LaShera Moore is a Chicago native. She is a freelance songstress, vocal coach and graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where she received a B.A. in Vocal Performance. She has worked with Gallery 37, Weddington Company, and the Journeymen Theater Company, among others. As a youth theatre teacher, she has directed or co-directed titles like Oliver, Willy Wonka, Annie, and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, to name a few. LaShera currently performs with The Forte Band, singing lead and backup; and alongside with drummer/bassist Keelan Jones in his company, Backbeatz Productions, as well as The Keelan Jones Experience. She has been a teaching artist at Windy City Music Theatre for four years, and has appeared in WCMT Mainstage productions of Oliver!, Cinderella and Hairspray, among others.

Roy Samra

Roy is overjoyed to be returning to Windy City Music Theatre as an actor and teacher. In 2016-17, he has played Jojo in WCMT’s Page2Stage production of Seussical the Musical, Starkey in Peter Pan, and Link Larkin in Hairspray. Other credits in Chicago include work with Polarity Ensemble Theatre, The Other Theatre Company, and RandomActs. Roy is a proud graduate of Oklahoma City University.

Steve Cox

Steve received his Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Western Michigan University and his Masters of Music in Opera Performance from Wichita State University. Notable roles include: Lucas in Bare: a pop opera with The Cuckcoo’s Theater Project, Leaf Coneybear in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Coach Bill Johnson in Good News!, and Jamie in The Last 5 Years. Steve has appeared in Windy City's professional productions of Mary Poppins, Once Upon A Mattress, Peter Pan, and Hairspray. He has served as choreographer for the 2017 Teen Ensemble production of Pippin.

Victoria Montalbano

Victoria Montalbano has a degree in Drama from Syracuse University, and has been an actress, improvisor, and teaching artist in Chicago since graduating in 2006. Some favorite performances include Arms and the Man (Louka), Much Ado About Nothing (Ursula/Verges), As You Like It (Le Beau/Audrey), Macbeth (Witch/Murderer/Porter), Dead Man’s Cell Phone (Hermia), Hay Fever (Clara), and the long-running hit, Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding (Donna/Terry).
